Gopsmor

Few environments can offer as much peace and tranquility as Zorn’s cabin at Gopsmor, a gorgeous place next to the clear and sparkling water of the Österdal River between Mora and Älvdalen. It was here, at his combined fishing cabin and wilderness studio, that the artist withdrew in order to live a more humble life, and it was here he painted some of his most famous works. Come and experience the magical feeling of stepping straight into a Zorn painting!

Gopsmor is located near the village of Garberg (Älvdalen municipality), 20 km north of Mora off highway 70. Follow the signs along the road.
