Zorn – A LIFE  A TIME

Zorn lived during a time of transition and came to live as if in parallel worlds. Constantly on the move in search of new missions, constantly exploring new environments. One moment, he would move in fine salons among society’s elite, only in the next to lead the midsummer dance in his beloved hometown of Mora. Zorn was a “miracle man of painting”, quoting author Per Svensson, an artist who could live equivalent to his wealthy clients, but also be at the center of a circle of friends, who partied, smoked and drank more than they should . Together, he and his wife Emma formed the perfect host couple for  Zorngården’s gallant dinners; other times he fled social life for the solitude of his Gopsmor cottage .
