ANDERS ZORN

During the winter 2023-2024, the Zorn Museum continues to show the acclaimed exhibition Zorn under the surface on the museum’s second floor. The exhibition offers a broad exposé of Anders Zorn’s artistry. It shows that paintings which give the impression of improvisation were in fact preceded by countless sketches and studies, artistic considerations, and deep knowledge of the nature of the materials in use. On the museum’s first floor, visitors encounter Zorn’s watercolors, sculptures and etchings, and in the film room a slide show about Zorn is shown.
