Time Travel at Zorn’s Gammelgård
At Zorn’s Gammelgård (Zorn’s old farm) children – and their parents – are welcome to join us on a journey that begins in the Middle Ages and ends in the 1870s, when Anders Zorn was a child. Together with a guide, the time travelers will see and feel what life was like in the past for people in Dalarna.
For more than 50 years, the Zorn Museum has celebrated Swedish Midsummer at Zorn’s Gammelgård June 23, at 2 p.m. Children are welcome to pick flowers for the maypole wreaths in the surrounding fields, and to carry the decorations to the pole. Once the maypole has been raised, dancing and live folk music follow.
